Well you came girl, but you gotta go. I just decided.

I went to Yoyogi park to take pictures with Kanagawa-san. We met after my post-earthquake return to Tokyo, and being impressed with his work I told him he could contact me if he needed a model. I never thought he actually would. I'm not sure what I bring to it, but I tried to do my best.

He makes me laugh a lot. It's hard to concentrate.
I loved the camera. It is huge.
But very heavy. The heaviest camera I've encountered in my life.

I was a bit uncomfortable with the situation, so I talked a lot. That's usually what I do when I get nervous. I talked a lot about the crows in the park. When we were done we went to a small gallery in Harajuku, but it wasn't open. We accidentally spotted this building though.
It seems they have a café and a gallery or event space.
It was a really cool building. Very messy.
I loved the sign. I wonder if I'll be able to find it again. My sense of direction is pretty bad.

We met again at the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo to see the Leo Rubifien exhibition there, and I tried to observe the way Kanagawa looked at the pictures. I thought I might learn something about what he's looking for when he's working. But I couldn't really figure it out. In Japanese museums you apparently have to whisper.

He gave me some of the pictures he'd taken, and asked me if I was willing to give it another try.

He didn't like them at all.
