Now you don't talk so loud

The sun has been shining in Tokyo but on Kyushu Shinmoedake has been erupting. Today we had a pretty big earthquake. Probably the strongest I've experienced.

And I bought a pair of glasses. At ¥7500,- they were unbelievably cheap compared to danish prices.

I've been busy, as expected!

My buchou from Denmark is in town. Much can be said about buchou, but I really like him. I think we understand each other pretty well. It suits him to be in Japan, he fits in nicely.

That takes talent.

What I do not like about buchou is that his presence (and the same goes for every gaijin, especially men) keeps the japanese away from me. And you know I'm talking about boys. They dress so snappy. I was waiting for the other trainees at the Asakusa Kaminari Mon, and consequently fell in love with all the rikshaw guys. They are so energetic and happy. One or two of them even spoke chinese.

"We'll show you around, won't you ride together? I'll take your picture!" So the chant over and over and over. Nobody ever wanted a ride.

I really wanted to, but I was waiting.

I started work, but I can't and won't write much about it here. It's exciting, but I've been working overtime a couple of days. Wednesday I went to a yakitori place with Torsten. We talked to Ando-san:

Friday all the interns went out for okonomiyaki!

And we hung out at Shibuya!

In other food-related news I tried some small citrus fruit. You eat all of it - just like that:

And I had white hot amazake that I liked! That's a new one.
