I'll do things for you if you were born in the 80's.

It's been almost two weeks since my last post. I've had the flu, and have worn a mask in the subway. I hate that.

Last week Young Diplomats held an Arabian Night themed event that I went to with Line and Amal. The food was delicious, but the music was way too loud. Where we were sitting it was impossible to have a conversation, which is sad, since I kind of went there to meet new people. So all in all not a huge success, and a bit expensive compared to what I got out of it.

 But that doesn't mean I didn't have a great time with Line and Amal!

And Amal taught us a bit about arabic food! Yum yum!

The following friday I headed for Yokohama to meet up with old friends!
I have a favorite Izakaya called Yuuki, where I met up with Gen from Dallax, my long time friend and partner in crime / drinking.

Unlike most danish bars and restaurants, it's quite common to keep personal bottles at Izakaya. I wrote my name on one in 2008:

I'm proud to say that my handwriting has not improved one bit since!
We also went to Fuzz and a bar mostly catering to foreigners, before we headed for a ska event in Shuibuya called Up&up. I stayed out all night and talked to a lot of nice people. I'll probably go there again. On the way home I took this picture:

Saturday we went out for okonomiyaki. I love it. It's so cozy cooking your meal together while talking and drinking. I can't get my head around the "I won't cook my own food at a restaurant"-attitude among many foreigners. That's just really silly. Stop complaining and enjoy!

We even had some omelet-style yakisoba! Oh my god I ate way too much.
It was Esben's last day in Tokyo, and I miss him a lot already. But probably not as much as Kaori !

I also went to Alf and Kimiko's housewarming. They really found themselves a nice apartment, and I'm really jealous.  But I'm so happy for them! They look great, especially when they're together.

I bought a softbank phone. It's the one smap does commercials for. And they have Otousan. How could I choose any other company?
