For a moment reach for me.

Wow. Almost one month have passed since my last blog.

Time flies. Maybe a little to fast for my comfort. I've been doing school work! Thanks to my amazing supervisor, I now feel I'm back on track with the part of my life that's waiting for me at home.

But here, in my "Japanese life" I went to a very cool place in Nakameguro with Gen. It's the second restaurant opened by some of his friends from Hakata called Izumida. The food was ridiculously good. I would like to go there again.

Gen with his favorite alcohol (coincidentally my least favorite): Imojochu. Oh dear I hate that.

I've been out a couple of times with Anne Rosa and Bjarke. We make a nifty little team. Although I have no pictures of us together, I bring you stylish evidence of a recent adventure in Shibuya:
Anne Rosa needed a new memory card, and found this gorgeous piece of Hello Kitty must have gear (That you will never see as it is inside your camera). Oh Japan, why are you so good to us? You bless us with stuff that we never could have imagined we needed!
We also went to a bar, that was originally introduced to me years ago by Adrian Pallis, and - as I can't find a nice link - I'm going to keep the location to myself for now. These two bottles are umeshu. But not just any umeshu. Very very good umeshu.
Served with a cool round ice cube.

Last week Anne Rosa and I went looking for books and magazines for my assignment. We ended up forgetting almost everything we had bought at and ATM. But nevertheless we had a nice day.
Anne Rosa in Kinshichou. Standing on a bridge over a crossing we where reminded how big Tokyo is.
For dinner we had squid okonomiyaki at a place near my house. Yum!
I managed to flip it without breaking it. Felt like a pro.
This restaurant doesn't have mayonnaise. Classy.

Today Esben came back. So now we are two Danes at home again. It's nice. I heard him coming so I opened the door for him. It's as if he was never gone. Now he's out to pick up Kaori from work.
When they come home we'll have a gyoza feast and go to the movies.
